The Notice is issued pursuant to sections 13(1)(a) and (2) of the Legal Profession Act, RSNWT (Nu) 1988, c L-2
Members can attend the Special Meeting in-person or virtually. Registration is required.
- Date and Time: Monday, November 24, 2025; 6:00 pm ET
- Aqsarniit Hotel and Conference Centre, Iqaluit
- Doors will open at 5:45pm ET; and
- Food and beverages will be available.
- Registration: All members must register to participate no later than by Monday November 24 at 12pmET.

- President's updates
- Treasurer's presentation and proposed resolution:
- Amendments to Schedule A s.103 of the Rules of the Law Society of Nunavut - Increase to Active Admission Fee (regular members) and a Special Levy for members renewing in 2026.
- Other resolution:
- Amendment to ss. 20(6) of the Rules of the Law Society of Nunavut re: Conflict, Quorum and Voting among the Executive Committee members.
Please note that Members will be asked to vote on a proposed resolution at the opening of the Special Meeting to amend the meeting procedures pursuant to Rule 27.1(2) of the Rules of the LSN to facilitate voting.
