Join the Law Society of Nunavut, Borden Ladner Gervais (BLG) LLP and RavenLaw LLP to learn more about workplace obligations of employees and employers in Nunavut and Ontario.

This session is geared towards human resource professionals, union representatives, managers and lawyers looking to enhance their understanding of employment law in Ontario and Nunavut, including recent legal cases and legislative changes on workplace harassment, violence and discrimination.

Common roadblocks to workplace harassment and discrimination policies and procedures being operationalized will be discussed, including ways to manage some of these issues through example scenarios.

The event is a hybrid format, with the option to attend either in-person or virtually. For those able to join in-person in Ottawa, the event will be followed by a meet and greet with appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages.

This learning opportunity will count towards one hour of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) for members of the Law Society of Nunavut. Closed captioning and Inuktitut interpretation will also be available.
