Caroline Briand is a partner at Langlois Lawyers LLP. She devotes her practice to Aboriginal, constitutional and administrative law. Her practice in Aboriginal and constitutional law focuses on advice, negotiation, consensus-building with various stakeholders involved, and capacity building. She supports Indigenous communities, tribal councils, government bodies and corporations in creating, implementing and improving governance structures, as well as in complex and long-term negotiations, particularly with regard to Aboriginal and treaty rights. She is a member of the Law Society of Nunavut, the Barreau du Quebec, and the Law Society of Ontario.
Béatrice Petitclerc is a lawyer at Langlois Lawyers LLP. She works in the Labour and Employment Law and Litigation groups, where she focuses her practice on Aboriginal law. Her broad interests lead her to intervene in a wide range of files in both provincial and federal regulatory jurisdictions. She assists a varied clientele in managing their legal issues, notably in matters of human rights, governance and civil remedies. Before joining the firm, Béatrice clerked at the Federal Court of Canada with Justices Martine St-Louis and Danielle Ferron. She is a member of the Barreau du Québec.
