To mark Inuktitut Language Month (February) and National Indigenous Languages Day (March 31), the LSN is pleased to welcome Aramide (Lola) Owoaje, Director of Strategic Planning and Policy, from the Office of the Languages Commissioner of Nunavut, l’Association des Francophones du Nunavut, and Caroline Briand and Bēatrice Petitclerc from Langlois LLP ( Montrēal).
In addition to their overview of recent developments in language rights, Ms. Briand and Ms. Petitclerc will speak to recent developments on Indigenous Peoples and the Law in Canada.
