Membership Renewal

The 2026 membership renewal period opens on December 1, 2025. 
Renewals are to be submitted online and are due on Monday February 2, 2026. Your proof of payment is required and must be uploaded as part of your renewal, unless your employer is paying.  

JANUARY 21 - Important update for payment - Members now have until Monday February 16 to send their payment to the LSN. Please note the following payment options: 

  • EMTs are now to be sent to billing@lawsociety.nu.ca .
  • Cheque to the Law Society of Nunavut: Please confirm when the cheque has been mailed/courried by sending an email to billing@lawsociety.nu.ca .
  • Direct deposit: You can pay by direct deposit to the Law Society of Nunavut account in person at any RBC branch. Please send an email to receive the LSN account information: billing@lawsociety.nu.ca .

Membership Renewal Required Documents:

  • Insurance Exemption Certificate and Undertaking (if applicable) 
    PDF file for uploading
  • Proof of payment (unless employer is paying)
