You can request a Certificate of Standing by emailing the Law Society of Nunavut at administrator@lawsociety.nu.ca .
- Payment must be received before processing the Certificate.
- To reduce paper waste, a PDF copy will be emailed to the designated email contact provided to us.
After you've received the Certificate, please complete the Assurance and Authorization Release Form and email it to administrator@lawsociety.nu.ca.
Preferred payment is by EMT to administrator@lawsociety.nu.ca.
Other options: Cheque or in-person direct deposit at RBC Branch ( Please ask for details).

For judicial applications, the Law Society of Nunavut issues a Letter of Standing.
